Leaders on yacht and ship surveying in Sydney, Australia.
Mike Rose
Surveyor, Mechanic, Boatbuilder and Skipper
Mike built his first boat unassisted in 1969 and has been building and skippering boats ever since.
Mike spent several years as the technical manager of charter fleets in Europe and the West Indies, restored and then skippered a 74’ classic yacht ‘Thelma 1898’ for 6 years on the Mediterranean classic circuit and has 40 years experience as a licensed mechanic.
Mike has also been carrying out commercial compliance modifications to powered and sailing vessels for the last 26 years.
Mike is AMSA accredited and is a surveyor for insurance and pre-purchase since 1995.
Graeme Mugavin
Naval Architect/Surveyor
Graeme is an experienced marine surveyor with over 25 years working in completing plan and stability assessment and survey inspections on commercial vessels in Australia and abroad. Graeme holds AMSA accreditation and has knowledge and experience in Class Rules, UK DOT Rules and US Coast Guard Rules.
Accredited with AMSA and the certifying authority of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors, The Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA) and holding certificates and degrees from Australian Universities and professional associations.
